Good to Know
- Our check-in and payment process is entirely outdoors. Please ensure that you dress appropriately for the weather!
- We begin vaccinating at 3:00 pm. 2:30 pm is the earliest that we can begin the check-in process, and we kindly ask that you do not arrive before then. Arriving earlier will create a longer wait experience.
- We will have a limited supply of pet food available, free-of-charge, at our clinics. Pet food will be set up outside for you to take.
FAQ
Is it better to arrive early or late?
- We begin the check-in process at 2:30, and request that you do not show up earlier. We cannot begin vaccinating earlier than 3pm, so you will experience a longer wait time if you arrive early.
- We generally have a longer line at the beginning of clinic and recommend coming towards the end of the clinic if you’d like to experience a shorter wait time. We cannot guarantee this is true for every clinic.
- As long as you arrive before 4:30 PM, you will receive services.
If my pet is sick, will you see it?
- Our vaccination clinic is purely for vaccinations, microchips, and licenses. We do not perform veterinary exams. The clinic is reserved for healthy animals receiving vaccinations. Please do not bring your pet for vaccines if sick.
How long are vaccinations valid for?
- The vaccine given for both one-year and three-year rabies is the same. The length of time between vaccinations depends on the expiration date of their previous vaccine and the pet’s age. Please review our Vaccine Timeline document for more details.
Should I bring vaccine records with me?
- If you would like a three-year vaccine administered, we do need proof of records. Otherwise, proof of vaccines is not required. We can look up previous vaccinations received at our facility, but it is a much quicker process if you have the records readily available.
How long is the expected wait time?
- Depending on the busyness, the process can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.
Can I come if I only need a license or microchip, and no vaccination?
- Yes! We don’t require that you get all of our services at once. Only pay for what you need.

All vaccine prices are effective starting January 1, 2024.
Dog Vaccinations
- Rabies: $25
- Distemper/Parvo (DA2PPV): $25
- Bordetella: $25
- Microchip: $35
- Licenses: $20 *Please note, licenses are required for all dogs 4 months and older within unincorporated Jefferson County and the cities of Arvada, Edgewater, Golden, Lakewood, and Wheat Ridge. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required when renewing your license.
- Please make sure your dog is on a leash. You will accompany your dog into the vaccination room where staff will vaccinate your dog and provide you with your paperwork.
Cat Vaccinations
- Rabies: $25
- Distemper/Panleukopenia (FVRCP): $25
- Microchip: $35
- Licenses: $20 *Optional for cats within Jefferson County. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required when renewing your license.
- Please make sure your cat is in a secure carrier.
What to Expect
- When you arrive, you will see two tents near the dog statue. You will first go to the check-in table to fill out paperwork and select the services you want. After completing the paperwork, return to the check-in table to receive a number and have your paperwork checked. You will then go to the payment table to pay for services, and our volunteers will instruct you to wait outside the vaccination room door. You will accompany your dog inside and wait in a cubby for one of our veterinary technicians to come to you.
- Please note that if you have a cat, we will bring them to our cat vaccination room during the check-in process. You will still wait inside our vaccination room and will be called to reunite with your cat after vaccinations have been completed.
Qualifications
- You do not need to be a resident of Jefferson County nor do you need to provide any proof of income or identification to receive vaccinations.
- We accept credit cards (Discover, Visa, Master Card, American Express) and cash only. Sorry, we are unable to accept checks or Care Credit.
