Dog Training

We offer dog training classes to the public!  At Foothills Animal Shelter, we are committed to keeping pets and people together. Our dog training program is an excellent way to help strengthen the bond between pet owners and their canine friends.  Our training method is based on positive reinforcement using praise, food rewards and clickers.  We offer 6-week sessions ranging from puppy and basic all the way up to advanced. If you have adopted your dog from Foothills Animal Shelter, a special discount will apply.  These group classes will help you communicate more effectively with your dog while also helping your canine friend reach their fullest potential as a great companion!

Thank you and congratulations to our 2011 dog training graduates!
